Област интересовања 

Интересовања Оливере Илић односе се првенствено на материјалну културу Римљана у области српског Подунавља и Поморавља (провинције Moesia Superior): римска економија, нарочито пољопривредна производња у агерима већих урбаних центара у ГорњојМезији, рурална насеља, оруђе и други предмети коришћени у пљопривреди, снабдевање и транспорт пољопривредних производа, природно окружење и њен утицај на римску пољопривредну производњу. Поред тога, предмет њеног интересовања су исто тако и питања која се тичу почетака христијанизације у свим њеним аспектима на територији централно балканских провинција у периоду касне антике.
