Interests and methodology of research

MA Milica Marjanović has, since 2007, been dedicated to the research of Roman archaeology. During many years of protective and systematic excavations, she gained significant experience in the research of the architecture and burial customs in the territory of eastern and southern Serbia in the period of Roman domination. She uses all her knowledge in the research of social-economic aspects of the life of populations from the Roman period. The interests of MA Marjanović are focused on the material and spiritual culture of the Roman period in the territory of Serbia, the interaction of the Italic and indigenous populations and changes that occurred as a result, particularly in the domain of the private lives, women and children in Antiquity, families and social organisation.
