Interests and methodology of research

MA Ivana Kosanović researches Roman provincial archaeology, with an emphasis on the Danube Limes in Serbia, through research at Viminacium and, since 2021, through research of the fortification of Gerulata. Her interests are primarily the research of epigraphic monuments, including literacy in Roman provinces on the territory of Serbia, through the analysis of the objects used for writing, their presentations on funerary monuments, inscriptions and historical sources.
