Археолошки институт представља јединствену, централну научно-истраживачку установу у Србији која је посвећена археологији. Основала га је Српска академија наука и уметности 1947. године, а од 1961. је самостална установа.

Interests and methodology of research

 

Besides actively engaging in archaeological excavations, Dr Angelina Raičković Savić focuses on resolving different problems related to the treatment of ceramic material, the origin of the raw materials used for the production of ceramic vessels and the application of mineralogical, petrological and chemical analyses. Dr Raičković Savić also studies antique cuisine and the preparation of food, by using original recipes in replicas of antique vessels.
