Interests and methodology of research

Dr Stefan Pop Lazić is actively engaged in the research of the most important antique localities in Serbia – Sirmium, Singidunum and Romuliana (Gamzigrad). Dr Pop Lazić has focused on the study of the Roman fortifications in the territory of today’s Serbia, and on questions related to the Roman army. Besides the aforementioned, Dr Pop Lazić’s interests also encompass the analysis of monuments of material culture: lead figurines and Roman sarcophagi.
