GreenHeritage Newsletter No. 4 – New Tools, Knowledge and Best Practices for Sustainable Heritage

GreenHeritage Newsletter No. 4 – New Tools, Knowledge and Best Practices for Sustainable Heritage

The fourth issue of the GreenHeritage Newsletter has been published, presenting new results, educational resources, and activities of this international project dedicated to connecting cultural heritage, sustainability, education, and community engagement.
A special focus of this issue is the GreenHeritage Online Repository of Educational Materials, which brings together resources collected and developed during the preparation of the Pedagogical Framework, co-creation workshops, and pilot programmes. The materials are intended for educators, heritage professionals, and anyone interested in applying the principles of sustainable development, community engagement, and value-based learning in their work.
The newsletter also presents the development of the GreenHeritage Community of Practice (CoP) – an international network connecting educators, cultural heritage professionals, and other stakeholders to exchange knowledge, experiences, and innovative practices. Particular attention is given to the gathering of the international and local Community of Practice at Viminacium, where the Institute of Archaeology hosted researchers, experts, professors, and students from the United Kingdom, Italy, and the United States.
Another important result featured in this issue is the GreenHeritage Handbook of Best Practices, a collection of carefully selected case studies covering research and international cooperation, local practices and territorial innovation, work with schools and young people, and digital gamification. The newsletter also provides an overview of numerous workshops and pilot activities carried out by project partners, as well as dissemination activities promoting the results and values of the GreenHeritage project across Europe.
🌿 We invite you to explore GreenHeritage Newsletter No. 4, discover new educational materials and best practices, and learn how we are working together to build a more sustainable future for cultural heritage.
