Interests and methodology of research

MA Ivan Ninčić is focused on the research of the beginning of the Iron Age in Podunavlje, with an emphasis on the role of communication and mobility of communities in the past. Through the research of material culture, he endeavours to illuminate the cultural and social processes that led to the development of Iron Age cultures. With many years spent on excavations, he has gained experience in applying digital technologies when working on archaeological documentation (including surveying with a total station, production of plans and models in the programmes AutoCAD, GIS and AgiSoft).
