Interests and methodology of research
The research work of Dr Olga Bajčev is directed towards the technologies and use of Neolithic pottery in the Balkans, to understand the economic and social aspects of Neolithic community life. Dr Bajčev is particularly interested in studying painted pottery and practices of pottery painting. Dr Bajčev is also interested in exchange, spatial analyses of settlements and theoretical archaeology, focusing on considering the nature of archaeological research, particularly excavations and academic studies.
