DANCING HISTOR(Y)IES – THE DH MODEL

Dear friends,

Within the project, the Dancing Histor(y)ies Model has been developed as a shared methodological framework demonstrating how cultural heritage can be activated through contemporary dance, community participation, and artistic collaboration.

The model serves as a practical guide for connecting archaeological sites, artists, and local communities, creating new ways of interpreting and experiencing heritage. Its goal is to provide a replicable and adaptable approach that transforms heritage sites into living spaces where art, history, and audiences meet.

By combining the tangible heritage of archaeological sites with the intangible heritage of communities, the model encourages co-creation, international artistic collaboration, and active audience engagement in the processes of creating and interpreting cultural heritage.
