DANCING HISTOR(Y)IES – MINI CLIPS SERIES

DANCING HISTOR(Y)IES – MINI CLIPS SERIES

We are excited to announce the launch of a new series of Dancing Histor(y)ies Mini Clips, offering a vibrant glimpse into the creative journey of festivals and co-creation processes developed across Europe!

This dynamic series brings together the work of key project partners — Institute of Archaeology (Serbia), Consorcio de la Ciudad Monumental Histórico-Artística y Arqueológica de Mérida (Spain), Associazione Enti Locali per le Attività Culturali e di Spettacolo (Italy), and I Borghi S.r.l. (Italy) — alongside international dance companies 420PEOPLE, Polski Teatr Tańca, ilDance, and Derida Dance Center.

Through workshops, residencies, and performances, the project activated some of Europe’s most inspiring heritage sites — Viminacium Archaeological Park (Serbia), Mérida (Spain), Castel Sant’Angelo in Rome (Italy), and the archaeological sites of Nora and Barumini (Italy) — transforming them into living stages filled with movement, stories, and shared creativity.

A special highlight is the Viminacium Archaeological Park, where the festival “ALL INCLUSIVE – HERITAGE ON THE MOVE” brought together artists and local communities, showcasing the full energy and potential of the Dancing Histor(y)ies model in action.

From first encounters and workshops to final performances, the Mini Clips capture the essence of collaboration between artists, heritage professionals, and local communities, celebrating heritage as a living, collective experience.
