In the past, the heavens and the earth were believed to be ruled by gods, people respected them and made sacrifices to them, they served as inspiration for artists, and the rulers were identified with the gods. Representations and motifs that have symbolized them since prehistoric times appear as a form of artistic expression.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text]The workshop “Iconography – Representation of the Gods through the Ages” offers visitors an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the motifs that appear on artifacts from Roman period. By researching printed materials, they will have an opportunity to learn new information about Greek and Roman deities, to express themselves creatively by completing unfinished illustrations, colouring them and learning their meaning and symbolism, with the help of our experts.
