From the Creative Europe programme (2022-2025), this project unites and is co-financed by partners from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ireland, Montenegro, and Serbia, together with experts from North Macedonia and Albania. The goal is to create a digital application, which will use virtual and augmented reality that will enable the reconstruction of the life, actions, living space, and objects related to five chosen women &#8211; medieval rulers from the Western Balkans.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Based on the research of historical sources and visual materials, screenplays, and costumes are made for the production of VR applications project aims to recreate the lives of five female rulers of the medieval Balkans.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During 2023 the team completed VR and AR applications by the digitisation partners (Digi.ba and Noho). These applications are now ready for testing. As part of the digitisation work, 3D objects and reconstructions were created,including the Don John Tower from Kru\u0161evac and a video game that allows users to travel through various countries of the WesternBalkans and recounts stories of their medieval female rulers.
